About the position
As a subproject manager at EcoDataCenter, you will work with both internal and external technical specialists/sub-project managers to manage our construction projects from start to finish. Our facilities are built in wood, a climate-smart building material, and consist of scale-protected buildings with advanced systems for operational security. Therefore, it is imperative that you have experience in large technical construction projects which include, among other things, cooling- and industry processes.
You will be responsible for the full project, including creating and monitoring a project budget, contractors, suppliers, and project financial monitoring. Throughout the project, you will maintain a dialogue with the operational organization and provide a quality handover. You will work closely with the CTO, Marketing & Sales, and Operations Manager in this role. You will report directly to the Head Project Manager.
The place of employment is at EcoDataCenter’s Main Site in Falun. The head office is in Stockholm.
You have a relevant University degree in Project Management or equivalent knowledge acquired by other means. We expect you to have 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in multi-projects within cooling/process installations and building and developing data halls. You have good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and are fluent in both Swedish and English verbally and in writing. Management and negotiation experience is an advantage as well as knowledge of construction law.
