We now prepare for the next step and develop the organization to become more sales and customer-focused. In just a few years, the company has made an enormous journey that started with the establishment of the world’s most sustainable data center.
Through the acquisitions of several data centers, Fortlax datacenter in Piteå and H&M’s data centers in Stockholm, we can now offer a unique range of data center services. During the journey, we have built strong relationships with several customers, including BMW and H&M, who both placed their trust in EcoDataCenter in 2020.
We are now entering the next phase to become even more sales and customer-focused, not least through the recruitment of experienced profiles with a clear sales background. Carl Frögelius has been recruited to EcoDataCenter as sales director and CEO of EcoDataCenter Sweden. Carl will now enter the role as CEO for the EcoDataCenter Group, when Lars Schedin, after many intensive years as CEO, will devote all his energy to marketing and continued development of the imperative sustainability area.
Other reinforcements are the recruitments of Anders Fryxell and Timy Vikström. Anders recently stepped into the role of sales director where he contributes with solid experience from both sales and other positions within the IT industry. Timy will be responsible for inside sales and back office.
“I am proud of the journey I have made, from idea to world-class data center, with these fantastic colleagues. EcoDataCenter is a company with a strong market position. I am now handing over the position as CEO of the EcoDataCenter Group to Carl in order to be able to focus even more on outward-looking activities and our sustainability work”, says Lars Schedin.
“I feel both privileged and motivated to take over from Lars and to be part of taking EcoDataCenter to the next level with an increased focus on sales and marketing work. The foundation has been laid and the market will be strong for many years to come. I look forward to welcoming more customers to a greener IT solution together with EcoDataCenter’s strong team, says Carl Frögelius, CEO of EcoDataCenter Group.
